THANK YOU! Using youtube is really annoying without some extensions.

It is insane to need an extension to make it stop translating titles.

Also sorry about my english, I'm belgian, speaking french.

I watch a lot of english content and YES, YouTube force translated (dubbed) audio along titles and descriptions! Those fake AI voices are nightmare.
Having the choice to turn this on is not bad. But in fact, we have to turn this off on EACH video. We feel cheated by the translated titles and taken for idiots with the dubbing.

So, you speak english but if your account language is different, or maybe because of your location, the nightmare begins...
I'm exaggerating a bit, but I read comments from people who don't understand what's going on. (firefox, reddit, google, ...)
I'm looking for a serious solution almost every day, and the number of dissatisfied people is growing more and more.

Again, maybe I am overzealous but I prefer to trust one single addon. Especially if the source code is available. (currently, I'm just testing in a sandbox... you can call me paranoid ^^)
Other addons or scripts have already been created but are no longer maintained and does not work anymore.
I believe that a complete addon can become popular, if Youtube does not listen to its frustrated users. This may motivate to keep it up...

Does just as it says, it would be cool to have the options to enable or disable auto-translation for specific languages, because i can understand English but not Russian or Japanese.

If I'm not mistaken, version 1.5.14 of Petr's extension contains the same fixes present on version 1.2.0.0 of NetStranger's extension (Youtube Anti Translate Updated). Thanks.

Thank you so much. YouTubes sheer inability to fix this issue after 5 years (!) is outright despicable. I want to use my computer in one language but I do not need bad translation of other languages I natively understand... You saved me from physical cringe in the future!

It randomly changes the titles of other videos.

This is grea, but I've had multiple issues where the names of some videos don't update correctly, and either concatenate without previous video titles, or just, take the title of a previous video.

With the second most recent update there was an issue causing tabs to crash, but this latest update fixes that. The extension works perfectly now.

The fact this addon even exists show the utter BS behind YouTube's useless features and how you can't "legally" disable this crap
