You do have th resize the window manually if you want to fill the screen. but otherwise a straightforward Messenger app. I can't believe FB doesn't offer one.

It no longer has a minimise and maximise button... why? Due to that small change, everytime I raise the firefox browser, the messenger window raises itself as well, and you cannot lower the messenger window below other firefox windows.... That is just dumb.
