This Video Downloader really works (compared to others) so long as Youtube doesn't change the algorithms that prevent download. And that makes the developer to really slog it out to change the plugin again to make it workable again. But I am glad the update did come out in the end making video downloads from Youtube possible again, in various sizes.

Firefox developer; EYVD is the ONLY one that have worked on every scenario and it is the closest to fix the zero-day changes made at Y0uTB3.
