Or if you just want to save videos on your personal devices for whatever reason. It makes it super convenient so that you no longer need to copy the url and paste it into another website to download it. The button is right there in YouTube.

En effet, souvent YouTube apporte des modifs à son propre code, ceci, justement, afin d'empêcher les extensions de téléchargement de vidéos de fonctionner correctement. Et malheureusement les utilisateurs s'imaginent que c'est l'extension "Easy Youtube Video Downloader" qui n'est pas au point. Et c'est pourquoi certains d'entre eux mettent une mauvaise note. (C'est trop injuste, comme aurait dit Calimero :-( )

It's simple and effective, and the developer actively maintains it to keep up with YouTube's constant changes to block video download add-ons. IMHO it's as close to a perfect add-on as you can get. I use it regularly and happily sent a donation to support this dedicated developer.
