YT is always trying to thwart downloaders, but Dishita keeps this one updated as quickly as possible. It's a very good piece of software, and very well supported.

Honestly this addon works great! With it I can collect memes and memories with ease. I have found no problems with it so far in my 1 year+ experience with it!

First, I have more than one downloader. The request to review it did not include an icon/logo of this app, so I don't really know which app this review is for. So, I can't really say much about it. Big mistake right off the bat. Second, the permissions required to use MANY apps are too general and not restricted enough. Example: "Access your data for all web sites". This is way too broad and a BIG security risk. This should be restricted to specific items for specific reasons, and not left to the honor system. Other things like reading my clipboard is not necessary, and should be restricted to reading only what is pasted into the app by the user. If I don't want to paste it, then it shouldn't be allowed to read it. All this applies especially to passwords and user data. It's way too easy to abuse it's purpose. The purpose can be fulfilled without access to user's passwords and sensitive data; you just have to do it the right way without taking the "easy way out" to avoid the effort.
I like the idea of the app and it's output, but it's internal workings are seriously flawed. It needs a serious audit.
Instead of donating to the app/cause/support, I'd rather help develop the app by guiding the programmers on how they ought to program it. Any takers?

I don't know what I would do without this add-on. It has been so valuable. When youtube deletes videos I don't need to worry. I still have the video. ha, ha to youtube!

One of the very first (probably first) to fix the new Youtube code and push an update at the earliest to the users, Since Youtube discourages video downloads and break downloaders via code changes on their end which needs to be mitigated - many users resort to negative rating not realising this as a part of the game. The developer is always working on a fix.

This is the first really good to use video dowloader , I like it so much that I even went Pro on it, first timer for FF addons! I use it every day and now I won't need to use an oline converter to get MP3's from music bideos. Already I have aslow network connexion, impossible to get MP3 converters going so this is the TOP! Thank you for this addon, it is The Best for me.

An excellent add on and the easiest downloader to install and use. Downloads whatever quality has been uploaded and achieves download high speeds.

It works great whenever it's left alone to work properly. I hope we can continue to exercise our rights with freeware on an open internet like we should. Terrific app!!
