- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh pmccallum, 7 tahun yang laluNot the developers fault, but the addon is a shadow of what Tile Tabs used to be.
- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Hideyo Mikisato, 7 tahun yang laluThis addon is certainly not very user friendly compared with original version.
However, it fulfills the function what I would like to. - Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 14038241, 7 tahun yang lalu

Exactly what doesn't work? Is the tiled layout not created?- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13824129, 7 tahun yang lalu

- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13386478, 7 tahun yang laluYes, let's hope the one-window -tiles will be possible in the future. REQ: multiple windows.
Some concerns of mine:
- new tiles always open with the tabs sidebar open
- "add tile" works only with a blank / new tab instead of existing
- simply clicking on and off and on again the icon of the add-on does open a layout consisting of blank tabs instead of the same layout and needs to "close layout"
request: when I have place for e.g. 3 tiles that act like groups with multiple tabs in them if would be an advance to be able to save the session including multiple tabs - Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13432803, 7 tahun yang lalu

- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13382758, 8 tahun yang laluThe WebExtension-only rule of FF57 is still a problem, but personally I think it makes more sense to use separate windows for the comparisons. It's a bit slow to respond, but with the clever toolbar-hiding functionality and synchronized window sizes, it works just as well as an html-based split-view would look.
Menus could be more intuitive though. - Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Talia D., 8 tahun yang laluAs other reviews will tell you, the limitations of the new extensions format prevent this add-on from functioning how it used to. Now it just creates two side-by-side windows. Windows has similar functionality built in, yes, but honestly, I find Tile Tabs WE handier than that. Nice way to compare things side-by-side quickly, easily, and conveniently with no fuss. It would be far better if it worked like it did before, but it's not useless. I don't use this extension a lot, but when I'm in need of it, it's still handy. And as we all know, it's the cost of moving to WebExtensions. While I certainly think this add-on is better than the high amount of 1-star reviews indicate, I hope people's dissatisfaction nudges Mozilla to work on a WebExtensions API that enables the old functionality.
If you're REALLY hankering for two tabs side-by-side in the same window, Vivaldi has such a capability...though it's implemented much differently from Tile Tabs and I must confess that, from my brief testing, I'm not fond of their version of the feature. - Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13356397, 8 tahun yang laluI have to give it 4 stars just for putting time into coming up with a WE version. No its not useful like the "legacy" version, but it's what you get with Mozilla trying to be like Chrome with forcing new extension api.. ughh. Firefox finally gets fast, then they ruin the extensions.

- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Raydeus, 8 tahun yang laluTile tabs and NoScript are the 2 main reasons why I use FireFox over other browsers, and if the FF team compromises their functionality then I'll have no reason to keep using Firefox.
So I just wont update to 57 for now while I wait to see if FF gives DW-dev the tools to make Tiletabs work properly in the new api. - Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13331269, 8 tahun yang laluI would rather prefer a drop down menu opening with an arrow (as in the old version) than having to right click
- Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 13114345, 8 tahun yang laluI think the WE implementation is an acceptable, but the keyboard shortcuts really need to be changeable. As it stands, this extension removes the ability to select text properly inside web forms, pages, or any other browser UI text fields. Alt+Arrow keys allow you to jump the cursor through text one word at a time, and Shift + Alt + Arrow keys is how you can select one word at a time.
With these commonly used navigation elements overridden, the browser becomes unusable for anything more involved than clicking on things. Doing development in Firefox is definitely no longer possible, which is ironic given that Tile Tabs has generally been one of my most useful dev tools ...
Edit : interestingly this behavior seems to be a little different in FF than in other browsers I've used it in. Some text fields retain the ability to navigate the cursor, so my initial review was a bit hasty. One particular area I use this feature though is with selected text on a page itself. Say I've loaded an admin UI and I want to grab some chunk of text that appears in the middle of a larger block...I can mouse over where I want to start selecting text and click once. This will place an invisible cursor of sorts, where I can then use the Shift + Arrow keys or the Shift + Alt + Arrow keys to set the marked text for copy.
This is especially useful when the text you want to select is a link, but you don't want to actually click the link for whatever reason.Balasan pengembang
dikirim 8 tahun yang laluThis problem is fixed in Tile Tabs WE 6.4.
The keyboard shortcuts on Mac OS X have been changed to: Control+Shift+ArrowKey.
The Control key is the one labelled 'Control' or 'Ctrl', not the one labelled 'Command' or 'Cmd'.
The keyboards shortcuts on Windows and Linux are still: Alt+Shift+ArrowKey. - Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Thad, 8 tahun yang laluIt works great with single monitor setups, allowing side-by-side viewing while using ctrl-middle mouse click to see webpages show on other tile.
Unfortunately, could not get multi monitor to work, in order to have 2 full viewing webpages open that are tiled and synced, so that I could use one for regular browsing and ctrl-middle mouse click on urls to see them appear on other monitor. Please add this feature ! - Diberi peringkat 4 dari 5oleh Pengguna Firefox 12294908, 8 tahun yang lalubut looks strange.....
