I've been using ghostery for a very long time (maybe over ten years?) and still to this day it's one of my favourite and most recommended privacy apps <3

It is a great extension. it is one of the only remaining ones that actually blocks youtube ads.

Blocked two trackers right off the bat (after page refresh.) In the past this addon has caused lag, or addded to it, or crashed or stopped working.) It's been several years so I'll try it again. Will come back later and bump the stars up if it stays good for a few weeks.

Works great!! Removes all the nonsense from web-pages reliably.

Brilliant add on. Haven't had to put up with ads since I installed it. It even seems to bypass YT's ad blocker detection algorythm!

Never had a problem with it. It's also free and I haven't found any evidence (thus far) that it's any sort of malware or the such. It doesn't work 100% of the time but 90% of the time is works well, it isn't terrible at all in resource usage (mainly looking at RAM here), but it could be a factor if your device is on the older side.
