Software engineer myself and I've been using Ghostery for years, all I want to say is: every one should install it. It's like the invisible shield to protect you from spam content everywhere nowadays

Ghostery Is the best ad-blocker out there. I highly recommend it because its simple, fast and minimalist.

It is a great extension. it is one of the only remaining ones that actually blocks youtube ads.

Blocked two trackers right off the bat (after page refresh.) In the past this addon has caused lag, or addded to it, or crashed or stopped working.) It's been several years so I'll try it again. Will come back later and bump the stars up if it stays good for a few weeks.

Works great!! Removes all the nonsense from web-pages reliably.

Brilliant add on. Haven't had to put up with ads since I installed it. It even seems to bypass YT's ad blocker detection algorythm!
