It does its job well but it slows down YouTube in my experience (Loading screen after being in another tab for a little, reloading taking a little longer, videos taking longer to load, etc.). Get it if you're willing to sacrifice a bit of convenience, which I mostly am. (This could also be because of other plugins I have enabled but I can't be certain.)

Doesn't seem to work for the home page on mobile.

Cool, I'm already how it is when you eyes don't ignore half of a page because of totally useless content. But 4/5 because it doesn't hide also useless *tab* of shorts (Control Panel For YouTube does)

Thanks so much for saving my mental sanity with this addon.

The basic idea behind this extension is ingenious. Hiding the YouTube shorts on the YouTube start page and the search results in YouTube works perfectly. In addition, all shorts notifications are also hidden. Unfortunately, the Shorts section is still visible on all YouTube channels, both subscribed and non-subscribed channels.

Saved me hours of doom scrolling on the phone. love it!

Impossible to use youtube without

For me this just works, and no suspicious activities in my credit cards statements yet.

Works perfectly well. Shorts are removed from multiple places on YT. With the right combination of settings shorts are entirely gone!

I enabled removing of shorts everywhere but keep the shorts tab for when I intentionally watch some of them. This works as configured and intended.
