I entered the path of the page but it didn't work...
I entered like this "file:///G:/path/file.html" but nothing happened.
I understand! Thank you for your kindness!!Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 8 anni faI did some research and it looks like Firefox 57 won't allow extensions to open local files. :(

- This extension is a complete lifesaver! Thanks a lot for all the effort you have put into this.
However, I have temporarily reduced a star in the rating because I noticed that your latest update requires permission to 'Download files and read & modify my download history' and I wasn't completely sure why that was needed. Can you please shed some light on this?
EDIT: Thanks a lot for the quick reply! That commit explains the changed permissions.Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 8 anni faHappy to explain. Access to the download manager was needed for the export options function (implemented in v0.4). Given the constraints of WebExtensions, the easiest way to deliver a file to the user is via downloads. You can confirm from the source code (available on GitHub) that this is the only use of the download manager. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 13000569, 8 anni fa

James Anderson, you're making me more productive and a happier person because I'm less exposed to the never-ending flow of bad news and nonsense of mass media... the guilty, non-focused 5-minute attention span of sudden twitter feed wrath... which I now block for most of the day. Hurray! Instead I can focus on reading more indepth news at appropriate times.
The NG (NextGen) version takes advantage of WebExtension features by appropriately reporting which data it needs access to and control over. This is a huge step forwards. It also installs faster and options panel seems more responsive.
I installed it and it worked first time -- I configured it, and it triggered first time I tried visiting a blocked site... without having to restart Firefox!
A few users have started reviewing a work-in-progress and complaining about features that are being developed or have arrived shortly after. You people should participate in development on Github instead. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 11483598, 8 anni fa

pubblicato il 8 anni faThanks for the feedback. I will add an option to hide the timer in the next release. - Valutata 4 su 5di knightontherim, 8 anni faI've been using LeechBlock for years and I'm glad James has made it v57 compatible, but I really miss the access control tab. The lack of it really limits the functionality of the add-on. Nevertheless, this is the best program of its kind that I've ever found.

- Absolutely the best extension of its kind. I tried a lot of alternatives while waiting for the new WebExtensions version and none of them do what I want the way this one does. Easy to use and very customizable... works great! Huge props to the dev for porting it over to the new version.
- Valutata 5 su 5di sidedishes, 8 anni faA lifesaver! Had already procrastinated my whole day on this paper. Thanks to LeechBlock I didn't also procrastinate through the night. It's great as a small little reminder to get back to work when opening up Facebook's become so instinctual. I'm glad this addon made it through the switch to WebExtensions.
Would be nice to have a quick toggle for turning on/off different block sets rather than disabling the extension or messing with the when-to-block time period/limit logic. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 13423477, 8 anni faBest productivity tool! Thank you so much for updating to the new extensions API; I know it's not the easiest thing.
