di Utente Firefox 14298576, 7 anni faFirst off, I've used NoScript for a number of years and have donated and am hovering between 2-3 stars due to the terrible UI.
Unfortunately the UI remains extremely poor, with confusing wording and very bad icon designs (w.r.t usability, nevermind esthetics). The UI uses double negatives, which is bad (ref: MS and Apple). This may be a side effect of Italian translation.
There is not differentiation with colour: blue and red are used in the icons regardless if something is "safe" or "unsafe". The exclamation mark doesn't work that well for conveying meaning (it's "sort of" a warning, but then the "stop sign" is also used - but now the stop sign means, "stop restricting" (again - double negative))
E.g.
S!: disable restrictions (change icon. to, almost anything, change wording to: "Allow everything (including blocked scripts)")
!: disable restrictions for this tab (change icon to almost anything else, change wording to: "Allow everything on this tab. (Maintain restrictions on blocked domains)")
Clock!: Set all to temporarily trusted (change icon, "Temporarily Trust everything on this tab. (Maintain restrictions on blocked domains)" )
Clock + Stop symbol: revoke temporary permissions (change icon, wording to "Normal operation"?)

- Valutata 2 su 5di Utente Firefox 14558205, un giorno faSince the v12.6 update, I am experiencing enormous usability problem. Has the functionality changed in fundamentla way - without communicating ?
After fuzzing around quite a bit, I resolved how to roll-back to the previous version v12.1.1 . Uff, resolved for now.Replica dello sviluppatore

Thanks!

- Valutata 1 su 5di Max, 5 giorni faI really wanted to use NoScript. I prefer single-purpose extensions that focus on doing one job well, compared to more multi-purpose extensions like uBlock Origin.
However, I ultimately couldn't stick with it because the user experience did not suit my needs.
E.g. one mobile screen presents around 12 different icons packed into the height of 3 lines of text, leaving a large portion of the screen completely empty below them.
My main frustration is that none of these icons have labels. Expecting users to learn and memorize the meaning of a dozen different unlabeled symbols creates an unnecessary barrier to entry and makes using the extension quickly and efficiently very difficult. It feels counter-intuitive to leave so much screen real estate blank when that space could be used to label each icon and explain its function.
uBlock Origin is easier to use than NoScript. - Valutata 5 su 5di LittleFire, 10 giorni fa
