Onetab has proved very useful to me for some time now, but I was finally bitten by its hidden danger. Firefox (59.0.2) stumbled over something & when I exited & re-ran the browser, all my Onetab data had disappeared. I do take nightly backups, but when I followed the only advice I could find from Onetab (to replace "store.json" in the jetpack tree) nothing changed. It was only when I discovered 111byte's posting in this forum that I learnt that Onetab data is actually stored in "storage.js" in the browser-extension-data tree!

Even if Onetab's authors don't improve the way they handle backups, I hope they at least update their info on where the data is kept. Onetab is an inspired add-on, but it is in real need of the updating it's authors are continually promising. Thank you for the contribution, but you really need to communicate better with your users.

I added 80 tabs to OneTab. After a moment, I clicked on Restore and everything disappeared. I do not have any tabs that have been open for about a year. They are not in the history of recently closed windows / tabs. They are nowhere. I lost a lot of valuable information for me :(

superbly useful

Great idea, but doesn't play well with Tree Style Tab - forgets hierarchy/trees. 5 stars if it worked with TreeStyleTab (the best add-on ever).

Utilissimo! È l'Add-Ons più utile di tutti e quello che uso anche di più. Apro sempre molte pagine per fare ricerche incrociate o per approfondire una cosa magari più avanti, prima spesso mi si bloccava il PC. Ora non ho più nessun problema, ne apro quante voglio e poi le metto tutte su OneTab e, quando voglio rivederne una non faccio altro che cliccarci sopra e mi ritorna come Tab. Fantastico.

Simply put: It does what it says! And it does something that no other service does. Also, it works. It works, consistently and constantly, always. I've been using it for well over a year now, and it does what I need it to do, which is manage my online activity through saving and organizing my tabs.

I love that I can save tabs, organize these tabs, send tabs, and more. I am a terrible worker, as I'm curious and like to read lots of things. I lose focus easily, and I fear losing information that I like (or that I want to read). I love working with tabs (even though they are awful for me, because of my work habits), and this makes my days SO much better. Download it, you won't be sorry.

wonderful.. Most useful extension I've ever had.

Extremely useful. It even saves my tabs after closing OneTab, my browser completely, or restarting my computer.
More than anything else, having a de-cluttered browser is a wonderful feeling. Highly reccomended.
