Salary Calculator does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you type — salary figures, hours, rates and tax bands — is processed locally in your browser to compute the results on screen. Nothing is sent to us or any third party; there are no analytics, trackers, or external network requests.

The "storage" permission is used only to save your last inputs and edited rate settings locally on your device, for convenience. The "tabs" permission is used only to open or re-focus the extension's own calculator tab when you click the toolbar icon; it does not read your browsing history or the contents of any other tab.

This data never leaves your device and is removed if you uninstall the extension.
