My past rating would have been 4 or 5 stars, but it has dropped because of obnoxious ads getting through, especially from IMDB. That's not acceptable, so I've discontinued using uBlock. Other blockers don't have that problem.

Sorry, aber ich habe in der letzten zeit wirklich einige probleme mit diesen addon.
Zuerst wusste ich nicht ob es an firefox 58.02 liegt oder an UBlock Origin.
Mein Problem ist, das ich diverse Seiten 2x laden muss bevor sie überhaupt korrekt dargestellt werden.
Ich habe Firefox bereinigt aber das Problem war nicht behoben.
Bei Seiten die nicht auf anhieb korrekt geladen werden, sind zuerst beispielsweise nur 12 elemente blockiert.
Beim 2ten mal laden sind es dann 20 und erst dann wird die Seite korrekt dargestellt.

It's a wonderful idea. And it works great in many situations. But I'm finding more and more that I need to turn it off to engage with sites I care about. The problem is it gives itself away.

Instead of ignoring links to ads they need to be downloaded as usual. And then simply not shown. How hard would that be? Stealth!

Too many sites seeing an ad-blocker in place and refusing to let you continue until you turn it off.

Very good in general, however it makes facebook constantly refhreshing so unreadable for the user. Hope it will be fixed.

I have noticed lately that when it comes to some webpages I actually have to disable this because it wont let me view anything on the site, then have to go into settings and turn it back on, other then that it blocks what i want it to.

hatte nicht den gewünschten Effekt erst der Perceptual Ad Blocker, den es leider nur mit Chrome gibt, zeigt Seiten wie Spiegel, Zeit, Bild wieder werbefrei und ohne Adblock Blockierung an! ich hoffe, den gibt es auch bald für firefox!

the drop down menu is totally confusing.

there is some weird symbol, a circle with a line in it at the top. I hover and submenu pops: CLICK to disable... CTRL+CLICK to....etc...

The thing changes color. I have NO IDEA what the the gray color means. I have NO IDEA what the BLUE COLOR means.

Below is says "requests blocked" followed by some numbers. THAT DOESN'T CHANGE whether I'm blocking or not.

Check boxes would be SO MUCH better.

Getting more and more ads these days

I've used this for a few weeks now. Seems good, but it needs to be more pedagogic in how to use it. It's like it's overly simplified and the understanding for what's what is lost. Since it's efficient and does take very little from cpu etc, I hope for more clear user pedagogy.
