This is (was) a great add-on, but with the recent updates it no longer works right, as you can tell from numerous user reviews. I wrote to the developer and received no response. I downgraded to version 1.13.8 and it works beautifully, and I recommend others do likewise. Be sure to un-select automatic updates, or it will go back to the current version.

Was happy with ublock for last couple years but seems its interfering too much with legit web page elements. Ebay was the last straw, cant open any links.. yes there are workarounds, but also tired of having to disable ublock frequently on other sites as well.

This software is quite simply brilliant. It is so invaluable that it is the first thing I install after I have finished a clean install of an OS.

It's one of those things that once you've used it you'll wonder how anyone else manages. Not being able to use it - e.g. on other people's computers, unsupported devices, etc - will feel like some kind of archaic torture.

Fantastic little adblocker that does what it says on the tin, making my Firefox feel snappy and lightweight again, yay!

Have been using Adblock Plus for some time before which finally slowed Firefox down to a crawl, eating away big chunks of memory and cpu ressources. Was once a fine adblocker but now a useless piece of crap owned by the advertising industry! Even disabling the so called whitelist had no effect, surprise, surprise, when advertisers pay to slip through under the radar.

been unable to update filters since the update to 1.14.10, downgraded to to previous version and it works fine.

Starting today I noticed full video ads getting through ublock on Twitch which is an Amazon company. Time to go back to the alternative I guess.
