Does what it says on the tin, shows 3 different icons for no canonical, on canonical, or canonical elsewhere and clicking on the 3rd redirects you. Quick and easy way to test canonical tags on a website.

    I like this extension for its ability to tidy up url's and, hopefully, not use Google's AMP.

    One thing that bugs me, though, is that I use Amazon's Smile program to donate portions of my purchases to the EFF. Browsing on smile.amazon.com immediately redirects to the regular site which would strip out the donation...I think.

    This issue was discussed on GitHub (https://github.com/webguyio/canonical/issues/1) and appears to be unrelated to the Canonical add-on.

    Very useful plugin. Much better than others I have used.
    Only suggestion: add tool tip which shows url in canonical tag when hovering mouse over the icon.
