way better than dark reader, this should be the most popular addon for this! i just wish the whitelist could work the other way around, enabling dark mode only for certain sites

This is the best add-on I've found for doing this. My only wish is that turning it on wasn't global. I only want to turn it on for the page I'm currently viewing, not all pages. I have many pages that already have dark mode and they work great. Adding this add-on to them makes them look weird.

I guess the negative reviews come from competitor apps with payment barriers. The app is perfect and adjustable, thanks for keeping it free!!!

I find this add-on works kinda opposite to the way I want it to. I don't want a whitelist for sites to not use it on, I want a whitelist for site to use on. There are so many site that have native dark mode that a global setting is too obtrusive for the volume of different sites I might visit in a day. It works well for what it does though.

A life changer for someone who has a large screen that they spend a long time using. Most pages are not very eye friendly (especially at night), whereas this changes everything.

tiny addon, big selling point. simple function, easy to use, just like a single pole, single throw light switch for a room (not one of these 'smart' ones connected the internet). it operates like a light switch should, instantly and simply. it stays on until you turn it off, and vice versa. it would be great to have a blacklist/whitelist option for specific sites (unless i missed it, as i did not read the docs in their entirety yet), although the included list covers a lot of major ones people visit. all in all, way better than 'dark reader' addon if you are just looking for a simple catch-all solution without all the added overhead that dark reader packages with its features. thanks Bernard!
