Deckrd runs a panel of 11 detectors on every conversation you have and gives you a live
AI-probability score. It watches Discord, WhatsApp Web, Messenger (facebook.com/messages), LinkedIn,
and X/Twitter DMs out of the box, and can be opted into any other chat site with one click.

• Timing patterns — response latency consistency, typing speed, message bursts
• Writing style — vocabulary diversity, sentence variance, punctuation fingerprints
• Conversation flow — topic drift, non-sequiturs, self-contradictions
• Style mirroring — AI often converges on your style or ignores it too obviously
• Persona consistency — biographical coherence across turns
• AI hallmarks — em-dashes, curly quotes, Oxford commas, "delve" and "navigate the complexities"

▸ HOW YOU SEE IT
A toolbar icon shows a live score while you chat. Click it to open the HUD-style popup with a
dual-gauge score ring, per-detector breakdown, and a list of every monitored tab — so you can spot
AI activity in the background while you're focused elsewhere. When any conversation crosses the
AI-detected threshold, the icon flashes briefly to draw your eye.

▸ PASTE-TO-ANALYZE
Beyond live chat, the Analyze tab lets you paste long-form prose (essays, emails, blog posts,
LinkedIn updates) and get an AI-probability score on demand. Best on text 200 words or longer;
chat-style short replies are a known blind spot and live monitoring remains the stronger tool for
those.

▸ PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Every detector runs client-side in the extension. No chat content, no message text, no conversation
history is ever transmitted. The only data leaving your device is your sign-in credentials (to our
authentication service) and, if you choose to submit a bug report via the in-extension Feedback
button, the technical diagnostics you include with it.

Deckrd requires a Deckrd account to run. A free tier supports 2 devices per account; a Pro tier
(currently awarded to Founding Testers, Alpha Testers, Closed Beta Testers, and VIP invitees as
lifetime Pro) supports 10. Sign up or request an invite at deckrd.ai.

▸ COMPANION DESKTOP APP
An optional macOS desktop app (Tauri-based) monitors any chat window, voice call, or video call
system-wide. The extension can pipe captured messages to the desktop app via an optional localhost
WebSocket bridge when both are running.

Deckrd runs a bounded set of detectors with documented weight configurations — no opaque ML model
making calls in a black box. Detection logic ships out-of-band so we can tighten it as AI evolves
without pushing new extension builds every week.
