But in return, it offers the CHANCE of revealing fake or scammy sellers especially sellers that have lots of successful sales, but if a problem occurs, then that seller flakes out (eg "treats customer poorly"). Such sellers are hard to spot due to the bad results hidden by the many successful ones. In the end, this tool can still improve especially if it can create a form of "INSTITUTIONAL MEMORY" which is needed in online sales reviews.
- Valutata 4 su 5di SkeletonBow, 7 mesi faWorks great on Amazon, it's very useful! On Walmart however, using it takes me to a page telling me to "add Fakespot to Firefox" even though I already have it installed, making me unable to use it on Walmart at all as it never recognizes that it is in fact installed.

- Deceiving addon, found it was listing sellers as "bad" and redirected me to more expensive sellers. after removing the addon i was able to check and verify the seller that it labeled as "bad" and turned out that it had pretty good reputation. i also found in some cases it changed the order button to another seller with a more expensive price, before clicking on the button the price was $49.99 and when it was in the cart it was suddenly $79.99 and changed the seller.
- The Beta version was working pretty well, but the add-on is extremely awkward and very poorly done. It is a waste of time and resources. The programmers have totally lost sight of the original purpose as well as it is intrusive with cookie setting limited to "do not sell my information". This does not prevent them from creating the cookies in the first place. This add-on has done a lot to shake my confidence in Firefox. If they are wise they will revamp the program or remove it all together.

- yes, this review checker is completely fake.
Fakespot is programmed to give good results to businesses that pay for good results, and bad results for everyone else. I tested it against known products and known reviews, and Fakespot turned out to be the fake.
and there is no way to completely remove it once firefox adds it. the price tag symbol is always present in the address bar when you visit the websites that fakespot is programmed to influence on, so that even when you turn it off, there is a chance that you would accidentally click to turn it on so that fakespot can make you buy something else.
Being ever-present, and constantly sending your activities and information to whoever is in charge of fakespot means that fakespot is monitoring your activities. Read the fine print. - Valutata 1 su 5di Polish_Dave, 9 mesi faThe privacy policy is... concerning. From what I understand the neural network runs on my machine. Why is *anything* sent to you or third-parties. Also why is the code not open-source? What happened to you Mozilla?
