By installing and using FocalReader, you agree to these terms. The full version is at https://focalreader.com/terms.

1. License grant. We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install
   and use FocalReader for personal or internal business reading. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute,
   sell, rent, sublicense, or remove notices from the extension.
2. Free vs Pro. Free features are available without payment. The Pro tier (Smart Window) requires a subscription
   processed by Gumroad as merchant of record. Pro includes a 7-day free trial; cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
3. Subscriptions. Pro renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your Gumroad library or by
   emailing support@focalreader.com. After cancellation, Pro access continues through the end of the current billing period.
4. Refunds. Where required by your local consumer-protection laws (e.g. EU/UK), your statutory refund rights are
   unaffected. Otherwise, mid-period subscription refunds are reviewed case-by-case if requested within 14 days of charge —
   email support@focalreader.com.
5. Disclaimer. The extension is provided "as-is", without warranties of any kind. FocalReader is a reading aid; it is
   not a medical device.
6. Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the
   extension is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 20, whichever is greater.
7. Termination. You can stop using FocalReader at any time by uninstalling. We may suspend access if you violate
   these terms.
8. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your residence
   still apply.
9. Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified via the extension or email.
