FoxHound does not collect or transmit any data outside the user's machine. The extension talks only to a local WebSocket server bound to 127.0.0.1, signed with HMAC-SHA256 using a 32 byte secret generated locally on first install. The secret is stored in browser.storage.local and never leaves the device. There is no analytics, no telemetry, and no third party SDK.
