Data Collection: InstaSnap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any external servers. All data processed by the extension (such as Instagram follower lists or snapshots) remains strictly on the user's local machine within the browser's local storage.

Third-Party Services: InstaSnap does not communicate with any third-party APIs or servers. The project is open-source and hosted on GitHub, which is used solely for source code management and distribution.

Data Security: InstaSnap prioritizes user data security by implementing Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-GCM).

Encryption at Rest: Sensitive information, including Instagram session tokens (App ID, CSRF Token, WWW-Claim), is encrypted before being stored in the local IndexedDB.

Local-Only Access: All encryption keys are generated and stored locally on your device. InstaSnap never has access to your Instagram password.

Safety Layer: While we provide an additional layer of cryptographic protection, the overall security still depends on the integrity of your browser and local device environment.
