    KeyVault v1.1.6 — Release Notes
    New: Cross-Device Sync via GitHub Gist
    Your vault now syncs automatically across all your computers. After connecting a free GitHub account, every password change pushes to a private encrypted Gist in the background. When Firefox starts on any linked computer, it pulls the latest vault automatically — no manual exporting or importing required.
    New: Import Tab
    CSV and backup imports now open in a dedicated browser tab instead of the popup. This fixes a long-standing Firefox limitation where the popup would close the moment a file dialog opened, making import unreliable.
    Improved: Storage
    Vault entries are now stored in local storage (5MB limit) rather than sync storage (102KB limit), eliminating quota errors for large vaults imported from Dashlane or other password managers.
    Improved: Encrypted Data Format
    Encrypted entries now use Base64 encoding instead of raw number arrays, reducing storage size by approximately 3x. Existing entries in the old format are still read correctly.
