LinguaLens sends only short sentence fragments around studied words to the first-party LinguaLens API for contextual translation and review-card context. It does not send full pages, page URLs, page titles, domains, browsing history, screenshots, DOM snapshots, form values, or cookies from other sites.

If the user creates an account, LinguaLens stores account information (email/display name), vocabulary decks, card scheduling state, review history, and aggregate exposure counts so the extension and web app can sync. Authentication uses bearer tokens. Optional crash/error reporting is scrubbed before transmission.

Payments are handled by Stripe. LinguaLens receives subscription status and plan metadata, never card numbers or bank details. LinguaLens does not sell user data or use advertising tracking.
