Normally works very well, unfortunately even after the mid July patch it was still making watching Youtube incredibly sluggish and with pop ups so I've had to temporarily disable it.

It's great i actually only run MBBG these days but its certainly got some slowdown issues happening at the moment, I look forward to the next update as even on pages i have whitelisted get bogged down.

Excellent add-on for safer browsing, without all the annoying bloat that other AV-providers implement in similar products.

I'm running the latest version of FireFox. This has warned me about entering two or three potentially malicious sites, but I get multiple occurences daily of pages virtually freezing and a warning pop-up that the plugin is slowing FF down. I've therefore disabled it for now. When I next remember, I'll give it another try to see if the issue (if there is one) has been addressed.

Edit: VERY impressed by the speed of Malwarebytes' response! Have added a diary reminder to turn it back on in a week's time to see if the fix has been implemented. In the meantime, I'll try very hard not to visit sites I shouldn't. :-)

This extensions been good for quite some time now, but recently, due to the bug that's been slowing down my browser, it's starting to get unbearable, I upload content on YouTube and browse the internet, and constantly getting a popup from my browser that its being slown down for long periods of time every 5 - 10 minutes is pretty annoying.

Until this bug's fixed, I do not recommend this extension to anyone, despite how good its features are.

I used to enjoy this Add-on until recently. I am using Firefox, and lately I have been getting the error message that Malwarebytes Browser Guard is slowing down my browser and that I should consider removing it. Not good.

Decent App. but with latest update. Utterly Broken. causes Firefox to lag and slow down /freeze. Which it never did in the past.

All of sudden it keeps causing firefox to slow down to a stop when watching youtube, its always been great before this recent update..by reading others reviews their seems to be a fix incoming! hope so, i'll checking back here.. edit: 3 days and still no fix even though the devs have said these is a fix incoming...

The current July 9th Update keeps causing FireFox to lag or slow down to the point of it's not working. Please fix this.

firefox says your slowing youtube.com down. Might want to fix that. I'm leaving it up in case i'm getting scammed. edit : It's still not working. I have contacted youtube about the issue as well now.

I've been using this for a few months now, and I love that it blocks and alerts me to unsafe websites.

However, recently I've been getting alerts from FireFox telling me that this addon is slowing down the browser.

I have no idea why this is happening as I haven't changed anything, so I don't know if it's an update that has caused it, but it needs to be investigated otherwise it's likely people could disable the addon.
