Five stars! This extension works flawlessly for me. Don't be discouraged by negative reviews; most issues seem to stem from incorrect RPC setup. As user 'adamhybel' pointed out in their review, make sure your RPC secret and port are configured correctly, and it should work like a charm. Highly recommended!

Very poor performance. Transfers links with a long timeout, approximately one link 10 seconds (this is extremely slow). I had 16 links that I wanted to download, but I just got tired of waiting for the extension to transfer one link at a time to the download manager.

Not regarding this extension specifically - Motrix itself is complete crap. Disgusting interface, disgusting performance. Complete inability to restore the download after a timeout

Don't be discouraged by negative reviews! This extension works flawlessly. Most connection issues are easily solved by correctly connecting the extension to the Motrix app via RPC Secret.

Quick Installation Guide:
1. In Motrix App: Go to Preferences --> Advanced.
2. Find the RPC Secret. If it is empty, create one and copy it.
3. In Firefox Extension: Open the Options or Settings of the Motrix extension.
4. Paste the copied RPC Secret into the “RPC Secret (Token)” field.
5. Make sure that the RPC Listening Port (default 16800) matches in both Motrix and extension settings.
6. Save the extension settings.

That's it! Keep Motrix running in the background. Motrix is one of the best download managers. It is open source and handles HTTP, FTP and Magnet connections efficiently. Thank you to the developers, I highly recommend you to use this extension and motrix software!

it's a bit tricky to get it running. extension expects the key but you get a whole adress from motrix. also had to press the standby button a couple of times and restart firefox, but it works now

This extension was not able to communicate with the Motrix application despite the secret key and port being correctly set.

It doesn't work at all on the firefox in my PC.

按照官方教程设置后，还是无法正常使用！相对的Edge就能正常使用。
After setting according to the official tutorial, it still cannot be used normally! The relative Edge can be used normally.

Works like a charm! Only thing I dont know is whether you can show the download within Firefox's "Downloads" menu?
But thats not really needed, just a bonus
