Open in New Tabs di grad13
Restores Cmd+click on sites that hijack clicks with JavaScript: the link opens in a new background tab while your current tab stays put. Works on the sites you register, plus X/Twitter DM conversations. No data collection.

Informazioni sull’estensione
Some sites intercept your clicks and navigate with their own JavaScript, so the browser's built-in "Cmd+click opens a new tab" silently stops working. Open in New Tabs restores it — on the sites you choose.
What it does
How to use
Permissions, in plain words
Privacy: no accounts, no tracking, no data collection. Nothing is sent to any server.
By design, SPA-only route changes (pushState), hash-only navigation, modals, and non-http(s) targets are out of scope.
What it does
- Cmd+click → new background tab on your registered sites. Your current tab stays where it is.
- Handles plain links the site suppresses, and JavaScript-driven navigations where the destination URL only exists after the site's own click handler runs (e.g. e-book bookshelf viewers).
- X / Twitter DMs: Cmd/Ctrl/middle-click a conversation in the messages list to open that chat in its own tab (works out of the box, no setup).
How to use
- Click the toolbar icon to open the options page.
- Add a site domain (e.g. ebookjapan.yahoo.co.jp). A leading www. is ignored; subdomains are included.
- Reload tabs already open on that site.
- Cmd+click a link or item — it opens in a new background tab.
Permissions, in plain words
- Access your data for all websites: the content script must be able to load on any site you might register. It only acts on domains in your list.
- webRequest / webRequestBlocking: to catch a JavaScript-driven navigation, cancel it, and reopen the same URL in a background tab.
- storage: to save your site list, locally in your browser.
Privacy: no accounts, no tracking, no data collection. Nothing is sent to any server.
By design, SPA-only route changes (pushState), hash-only navigation, modals, and non-http(s) targets are out of scope.
