- Valutata 2 su 5di evtldocha, 18 giorni faThe Addon tells me:
Verbindung zum nativen Host kann nicht hergestellt werden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Paket „plasma-browser-integration“ korrekt installiert ist und Sie Plasma 5.13 oder später verwenden.
But got package plasma-browser-integration-6.7.3-1.fc44.x86_64 installed. Very confusing... - Valutata 1 su 5di Vaios Pantoulas, un mese faNo way I am installing this with so many permissions!! Make all monitoring permissions optional with warnings of what will not work.

- The permissions required are kind of an issue. Yes you can turn off the feature to search your browser history but access to your browser history is a "required permission" and you can't disable the permission.
If they moved this to the "optional permissions" and had it disabled by default then I would consider using it but that's a deal breaker on principle alone. Nefarious data collection is a serious issue these days. This kind of thing needs to be more transparent and more optional. - Valutata 5 su 5di hinaxnitro, 7 mesi fa
- I finally found the app that caused a few pages not to load correctly. I never would have suspected Plasma Integration to be the culprit, but it turns I was wrong.
Try disabling it if you experience problems with webpages that load correctly in other browsers or private windows.
Otherwise it would actually be quite useful. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 19598818, 9 mesi faI get it that the new feature to search browser history can be turned off in the preferences, but that also means that the "access browser history" permission is not actually required and should be optional just like it was previously! I do not want that permission granted, ever!

- Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 19576295, 9 mesi faPeople complaining about the new requested permissions to read the browser history:
There is a new feature that allows *you* (not KDE) to search *your* browser history with *your* desktop search (e.g. KRunner or similar).
Either way, this feature can be easily switched off within the extension's options menu.
I mean, c'mon, why would a non-profit run by volunteers and with no commercial interest in anything be interested in what you visit? Let's be serious.
