- Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 14720242, un anno fathank you so much for this, it solves several issues i had on streamlining pwa usage on my fedora/gnome.
- Valutata 4 su 5di xalente, un anno faGreat extension. Though, weird issue happens to me when I pin them to the taskbar (Windows 11), it reverts to the Firefox icon. Also, it would be great in the future if we could add the web apps to the Windows Start Menu.
Edit to answer the reply: Yes, the behavior (reverting to the Firefox icon when pinned to the taskbar) happens with all the web apps (I created 10).Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il un anno faDoes it happen with all PWAs or just specific ones? If it's just some, it might be because they're using SVG icons, which aren't fully supported currently. That will be fixed in the future. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 14789689, un anno faI was so very disappointed that I couldn't turn my favorite web based email program, which doesnt offer a desktop app, into a web app the way you can in MS Edge. After installing a couple of necessary support pieces .. this works like a CHARM! My Web based email now works as well as any desktop application.
- Valutata 5 su 5di DK, un anno faIncredible. Shame on firefox for removing this feature. It sucks to have to run it as another service, but if it's the only way for this to work, then I'll continue using it. BIG THANK YOU to the developer. You're doing amazing work.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 18562428, un anno faHasn't worked in a long time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, completely resetting, still constant issues that makes it not worth it. I still don't understand why this is even needed. All I want is the exact same functionality that used to exist and doesn't no reasons like reasons. All I want is the Google Messages icon pinned to my taskbar so I can text from my computer without finding the tab it's on. This should not be that difficult.
- Valutata 2 su 5di Daniele, un anno faI installed the PWA but even if I install the deb package (OS Ubuntu 24.04 Firefox flatpak version) I cannot select the runtime installation

pubblicato il un anno faFlatpak is not supported because it doesn't provide the necessary APIs yet. You can read more details here: https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/faq/#why-doesnt-the-extension-find-the-native-connector-on-linux
You will need to use normal Firefox (from Mozilla website or their DEB repository) instead. - Valutata 5 su 5di slucas, un anno fa

- Valutata 5 su 5di Glen, un anno faI do not understand why Mozilla stopped development on PWAs. This extension works really well once set up, and fills in this feature gap.

pubblicato il un anno faWell, that shouldn't happen. It seems to work fine with all recent Firefox versions, including 127.0.2.- Valutata 1 su 5di A. TV, un anno faI would steer clear of this extension. It totally screwed my entire system. It took me hours to get it back to normal.

pubblicato il un anno faPlease check troubleshooting tasks (https://pwasforfirefox.filips.si/help/troubleshooting/) to obtain the extension and native logs and create an issue on GitHub. Also, Windows 7 is no longer supported, so you might experience issues because of that. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 18439079, un anno fa

pubblicato il un anno faHave you linked the manifest as described in the installation instructions? Also, please create a discussion on GitHub: https://github.com/filips123/PWAsForFirefox/discussions - It's a little finicky out of the box on Zorin OS, which defaults to flatpak Firefox. But I found I could switch to the snap version and have success installing the additional components necessary. I've also noticed I often need to launch PWAs twice, the first time they close immediately and the second launch they perform fine. I like being able to control whether the PWA uses it's own or a shared profile. I've found the shared profile useful for using Office365 apps like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams which I need for work, but isolated profiles are great most of the time.
