Recensioni per Save Screenshot
Save Screenshot di Manuel Reimer
Recensione di Digital Dreams

di Digital Dreams, 7 anni faI just tested about 6 or 7 different screenshot extensions — including the big ones like Nimbus, Awesome Screenshot, and Fireshot — and Save Screenshot by Manuel Reimer was the only one that could actually (and COMPLETELY capture and) save the huge webpages I needed to screenshot for archiving purposes. Not only was the capturing process itself much faster the others I have tested in the past, it captured the entirety of the first webpage (in one try) as a 26.5 MB PNG file without any unnecessary loading, superfluous options, or other fluff that normally gets in the way of performing what should be a simple task in a timely manner. It delivered and did everything it promised to do for me as of November 8th, 2018 on my Firefox 62.0 Portable browser — in private browsing mode no less with a VPN on without needing to tweak anything beforehand.
*Funny story about this extension:
I had been so frustrated with the repeated failures of the other webpage capture extensions that, when I didn't see an immediate reaction to hitting the screencapture button, I assumed it wasn't working like all the others and uninstalled it immediately — within seconds because I had my extensions tab open for quick access. To my dismay the "save file as" window popped up almost immediately after I had uninstalled it. I was still able to save the image despite the extension being uninstalled and immediately undid the uninstallation once I realized it had worked. Talk about a close call.

- I added this trying to replace Screengrab which appears to have been deleted on this site, however, its lesser to screengrab in that it doesn't actually have a good interface for selection copying and it doesn't allow scrolling the page to grab a selection taller than your screen. You may as well just use Print Screen key.

pubblicato il 5 mesi faFull page screenshots do work for pages that scroll "in the body" but not for complex pages. Some of those have built-in special handling in my Add-on, but this will only be added for "big web portals" and can only be added if this is filed as an Issue for this specific website on GitHub. - To me, the only Screenshot Addon that really works (only tested on Firefox Desktop Version!).
It does what you hope for:
1 continues, big picture - in a small fileformat - without external servers - advertisements - or a heavy addon with several megabytes!
Sleek - working - FOSS - I love it!
Thank you Manuel! - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 18352095, 7 mesi fastill the best, simplest and versatile screen shot saver, many thanks to M-Reimer

- Valutata 1 su 5di DevourerOS, 9 mesi faDoesn't take a screenshot of the whole page, it just nothing more than what you can already do with your power and volume down buttons.

pubblicato il 10 mesi faWhich does not provide some of the features that I provide with my Add-on. But yes, if you are happy with the Firefox built-in, then there is no need to install my Add-on. - Valutata 5 su 5di pineapplemilk, 10 mesi faThis add-on work incredibly well on Firefox for Android!
A must-have add-on before FFfA has its built-in screenshot feature like the desktop version.

- Valutata 5 su 5di Ramon V M, un anno faThis add-on is perfect. Although Firefox already has a screenshot feature, this add-on is very straightforward and offers various but simple options. I have it set to take screenshots in JPG format at 90% quality, and every capture comes out with excellent image quality and without much file size. Yesterday, I also discovered an option that lets you add the date, hour, minutes, and seconds to the screenshots exactly how you want! Thank you! :D

pubblicato il un anno faA screenshot is a raster image. And for this PNG and JPEG are the formats to go.
For proper PDF archiving, I recommend you going over the print dialog or use the "Print Edit WE" extension.
