I know this is currently an extension, but the whole idea about using this as an experimental extension is to see if this feature makes sense to be in Firefox natively right? I would want this natively in Firefox if it can work as a:
1. Side view exntension's current capability. Don't remove mobile website invoking capability of the extension. Amazing for testing and other mobile oriented experiences when needed.
2. If it can also work as a split window natively instead of having to rely on an extension. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 15065996, 6 anni faNeed to keep improving and having updates. Messenger Facebook is inaccessible!!!!

There should be some option to go back on the page as main back button doesn't work with sidebars, that's why I removed one star. I understand this still is a pre -release version so may be they resolve such issues before final release. Thank you Firefox. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 15000001, 6 anni fa

No idea why they got rid of the old sidebar as it was better than this sideview. With sideview You have to remember to right click the bookmark and then press open in sidebar. With the older Firefox sidebar you just pressed the bookmark and it would open in the sidebar. Its just a small thing really but when you are used to that workflow it takes a while to get into this new way of working.
All sideview needs is a checkbox option to state that when this bookmark is pressed it will always open the bookmark in the sidebar. - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 14711107, 6 anni faCool feature that helps me do my job. I can keep my equipment monitoring screen up with my ticket que on one "page".
I would like to see the ability to have an auto refresh and have both views be equal width (50:50). - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 14680304, 6 anni faI can't get BBC iPlayer to play in side view :-(

It will be okay if it improves even it. (I'm using a translation machine)
- There's a lot to like about this and it's pretty cool, but a few things would make it significantly more useful.
(1) Right now the back/forward buttons on your mouse can't work "inside" the sidebar, so quick navigation without hunting for links is difficult. (2) There doesn't appear to be any way of clicking links in the sidebar and having them open in the main window, like Open Link in Current Tab or something. (3) It doesn't respect default page zoom settings, which means on a 4K monitor the text can be really tiny. It does allow you to zoom within the sidebar, but it won't remember it if you close it and open again. (4) Lastly, and this is a big one, you can't drag it out to make it any wider than the default, so at least on high resolution monitors, it's a just a thin little box on the side. Imagine if you could drag it out to the 50% mark and easily navigate within it -- you could essentially have dual pane tabs! Which would be amazing, and huge for all sorts of workflows.
Anyway, just to be clear, I do like this addon quite a bit, but with some small tweaking it could be so much more! - Valutata 4 su 5di Utente Firefox 12233854, 7 anni faits very good and i like it, but have issue with 4k display where the side bar gets very small on sides.
