Sidney’s Citation Helper operates only on the active tab after the user clicks the extension icon.

The extension does not collect, store, or sell personal data.

If the optional AI feature is enabled by the user, limited page metadata (title and URL) and optionally selected text may be transmitted to api.openai.com when the user clicks “Use AI.” No data is transmitted automatically.

All citation templates and settings are stored locally in the user’s browser.

The developer does not have access to user data.
