Information the Extension Stores Locally

This is handled by the standard Firefox Storage API (Firefox.storage.sync).

The settings we store include:

Whether the dark mode is currently enabled or disabled.
Your chosen theme (e.g., 'Classic Dark', 'Cyber Green', etc.).
Your custom values for the "Advanced Controls" like brightness, contrast, and saturation.
Crucially, we, the developers, have no access to this data. It is stored on your machine or within your personal Google account's synced storage, and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Extension Permissions
The extension requests a few permissions to perform its single purpose. Here is why we need them:

activeTab: This permission is used only to check if you are currently on the Stripe.com website when you click the extension's icon. This allows the popup menu to function correctly without needing to read your Browse history.
storage: As explained above, this permission is required to save your extension settings locally in your browser.
host_permissions for ://.stripe.com/*: This is the core permission required for the extension to work. It allows the extension to inject CSS and JavaScript into Stripe web pages to apply the dark theme. The extension does not read or alter the content of these pages beyond applying visual styles.
Third-Party Links
The extension's user interface may contain a link to a third-party website, such as our "Buy me a coffee" support page. If you click on this link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content or privacy policies of any third-party sites.
