di Utente Firefox 13634564, 8 anni faExtension has a good performance whenever you need locate a static element xPath, worth to mention the element should be NON Clickable, since whenever you click a link, the page reloads and the xPath tends to change depending the next page content.
Unfortunately totally useless for me by now.
I suggest get an implementation to use Shift + Pointing the Mouse over the desired element, instead the "You have to click it" current method. This would make things easier and less complicated when working with "href" or link-type elements.
Regards.

I really appreciate the super-fast response along the fix. I'm just testing right now and works like a charm.

- I encountered a problem like one of the users above. Also, if I want to look at the XPath of a button, I need to click on it. But judging by the developer's response, he fixed it and added a function suggested by the developer: shift + cursor on the button. I downloaded the latest version, but I don't see this feature. To get the XPath of a button, you still need to click on it, followed by a page reload. Mozilla Firefox version

- Hi: before adding this as my extension, my question is what is the reason for the data collection from the user-end? It says you are allowed to collect all the web data. What are included in the data collection - passwords and important information as well? Thanks.

Edit for requested info:
Firefox 68.0.2 (64-bit), any page I try. It just doesn't seem to do anything when I click the extension icon (expecting cross-hairs to select element, but I don't get anything but typical mouse arrow).Replica dello sviluppatore
pubblicato il 6 anni faHey, please provide more informations (firefox version, page where this is not working). Will try to replicate and fix if this is a bug.
Edit:
Thanks for the provided informations, I'm checking this now on FF 68.0.2 and all works fine, probably there is a conflict with other installed extensions, could you add issue on the https://github.com/trembacz/xpath-finder/issues ? With that list I will be able to investigate this more deeply. - Valutata 5 su 5di Utente Firefox 15191021, 6 anni fa
