Looks good, stream viewer count doesn't automatically update though

It's damn great, I wouldn't go on youtube without it!

so on the community posts when there is like images, polls, etc. the boxes are circular and the icons on the youtube player move off the player whenever i click on another video, in a plalist, etc. 5 stars for fix =-D

I understand that the latest update requires permission to be able to export the configuration files, but I beg you, make it optional. Until then I will be forced, for safety reasons, to remove the addon. It is a shame because I really loved this extension.

Love how it looks, however I downloaded this because I don't like the new floating video player icons, would it be possible to change them? Or at least make it so that the bottom of the icons doesn't get cut off, it does that on my machine.

The latest update requires permission to "Download files and read and modify the browser’s download history". Why does the stateless functionality offered by this extension suddenly require such a strong intrusive permission? Unless, this extension was bought over by some greedy business that wants to collect and sell your data. Just find another extension at this point.

Edit (post dev's response): It's still potentially unsafe in the event that a future update may obfuscate the code, since Mozilla does not require add-ons to be opensource. Since I do not require the export functionality, there should not be any obligation for me to accept the new permission. Currently, it is not so. Also, there are other extensions like uBlock Origin that allows syncing config (custom filter entries) without requiring any download or browsing history permissions.

I am not questioning your commitment to remain open-source, but with this permission, there is a permanent opportunity for you and your successor (if and when) to malpractice.

this makes the UI unironically friendlier than the new UI

Love it. One big problem though, some days ago (forgot when), the shuffle button in the Playlist (When watching from the playlist, next to the loop button) is just gone. Turned the extension on & off to confirm, and yes the extension itself is the problem. Turning settings on & off did not fix the issue.

Edit: This issue isn't fixed as of 8/20. Won't change rating, this is just to keep the issue known

Works perfectly, 3 tile new design is just pure garbage. Youtube Redux easily fixes it

everything is a great addition to youtube but my main problem is the huge thumbnails that get fixed with the extension but it resets every time i leave the site. would love a fix on that.

Seems like a pretty cool extension, I mainly am trying it out because I dislike YouTube's new, gigantic thumbnails on the home page and subscriptions page. YouTube Redux fixes that problem on the home page, but not in the Subscriptions page as far as I can tell. It *does* reduce the size of the thumbnails, which is nice, but only to a medium size, and there are still only 3 columns. Having that feature work on the Subscriptions page would be awesome, so I hope it is added at some point. On the totally positive side, I'm not seeing ANY shorts thumbnails now, which is fantastic!

Downloaded this to fix the new YT layout (grid size) and while there is an option for it, it just does nothing.
