- Multi-Instance Support (NEW): Choose from multiple popular Invidious instances (Nadeko, NerdVPN, ChocolateMoo, Tiekoetter, F5, Zoomerville) via a convenient dropdown menu. Your preferred instance is remembered automatically.
- Seamless Redirection: Instantly forwards standard YouTube
/watchURLs and/shorts/directly to your chosen Invidious instance. - Livestream Bypass (NEW): Automatically detects if a video is a livestream (which are often unsupported or disabled on Invidious) and seamlessly bounces you back to native YouTube so you can watch without getting stuck in an error loop.
- Smart Auto-Reload: Invidious instances occasionally encounter "video append failed" errors when a backend server chokes. If enabled, this extension detects those errors and automatically refreshes the page (up to 6 times) until it finds a working video stream.
- Playlist Bypass: Safely ignores URLs containing
&list=, allowing you to manage and watch your native YouTube playlists without getting unexpectedly redirected. - Instant Toggles & Status Indicator: A clean, minimalist popup menu lets you turn the Redirector or the Auto-Reload functions on and off with a single click. A discreet green dot on the extension icon lets you know at a glance when the extension is active.
