not recommended to install, slows down the whole browser constantly

If you have to log in to a third party website a plugin should be avoided at all costs.

A great extension, but recently the extension is showing massive performance issues, slowing down the browser to a halt. Specifically on Reddit for me, for some odd reason.

What in hell did you do to my boy, please fix this crap

Love this extension, been using it for years, but please for the love of all that is holy... Fix the massive performance issues...

The latest update 2026.5.0 is causing major issues and slowing down many sites and making the entire browser grind to a halt at times... this is unacceptable.

Decent app, used to be better. Can't login and causes slowdowns lately.

Slows down some sites immensely

Pretty please, make the 2026.5.1 version available asap, it should resolve a very annoying significant slowdown issue on some websites!

amazing extension. not 5 stars because of the autofill not working sometimes, other than that, it's amazing. Some good features are free logins across all devices, free payment plan, it doesn't blast you with upgrading. Highly recommend over other managers I've tried such as lastpass, nordpass, dashlane

It used to work well, but within the last couple of days it became much slower. It now says Version 2026.5.0. It is still usable but slow enough to be really annoying.

Something has happened in the last 1-2 Days, the extension is now completely freezing all of Mozilla and we are being warned to disable the extension. I hope someone at Bitwarden sees all these reviews and figures out what it is, will fix my review when it's fixed, pinky promise.

Slowed down significantly lately. Even Firefox is reporting that "this extension is slowing us down, want to stop it".

Recently started to slow down and freeze webpages. Firefox asks to stop the hogging bw process

Has been great, I am not sure what happened, but within the last week it seems to be slowing down when I attempt to review code in Gerrit windows.

Finally (after weeks), version 2026.5.0 fixed the bug that the failure of autofill function.
However, this bug should not have occurred. Perhaps the AI code and incomplete regression testing have affected some originally normal functions

Out of nowhere this extension has began to cause unresponsiveness within the whole browser. Every time I load a new page, Firefox flags it as the culprit.

Great service that I've been happily paying for for years, but this is unacceptable and I will not hesitate to switch to a competitor if it's not resolved promptly.
