Ghostery does not sell user data. The Human Web, which you can choose to opt in or out of, is an open source technology built by our parent company Cliqz, that provides anonymous group data to help create and improve the browser security features we provide. I have visited websites that normally have pop ups or ads placed very close. While, it isn't perfect by no means it is better than none. Before, some pop ups would slip through but not now. But, ads on YouTube are random; sometimes ads in homepages or even video player ads (But it lasts for only 3-4 days until it's patched). It is good to see that they are actively listening and maintaining this very well.
