Yesterday I updated Ghostery to version 7.3.3.7 (in Firefox 55.0.3) and luckily it seems that the developer has fixed the delay and hang issues. Startup is fast again and Firefox is immediately ready for use - at least on my Mac, and I always startup with a blank page, not with zillions of tabs open. So Ghostery is back on my list of must-have add-ons. Good job!

I have visited websites that normally have pop ups or ads placed very close. While, it isn't perfect by no means it is better than none. Before, some pop ups would slip through but not now. But, ads on YouTube are random; sometimes ads in homepages or even video player ads (But it lasts for only 3-4 days until it's patched). It is good to see that they are actively listening and maintaining this very well.
