Since the 1.5.14 update the add-on slows down Firefox to a halt on some occasions, prompting the browser to ask you to disable the add-on.

Hi thanks for telling me, I'd like to investigate this more. Could you please file a bug with this report on my Github (https://github.com/artisticfox8/yt-anti-translate)? Please also add which addons you're using, which version of Firefox are you on :)

(I'd talk here, but this review section only allows me one reply so it's cumbersome for longer conversations)

Made a temporary fix for the current bug at https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/youtube-anti-translate-updated/
Make sure to disable the original extension

Hi, thanks for the fix! I reviewed it and merged it in my code, it should all work now :) Please test release 1.5.14 on https://github.com/artisticfox8/yt-anti-translate. If something doesn't work there, feel free to file a bug.

It's outdated compared to the original chrome extension, still not compatible with DeArrow and sometimes gives wrong titles to some videos

Still somewhat outdated, as it does not seem to catch description translations or the new mess that is the automatic playing of text-to-speech translations over the video, but it blocks the translation of titles just fine. Overall, does what it's intended to.

One of the must have extensions for YouTube.

Edit: This port is a bit outdated, which makes it incompatible with the DeArrow extension. See this issue on github from the original project: https://github.com/zpix1/yt-anti-translate/issues/21
