This add-on connects to adblockplus.org to obtain filter lists and subscriptions. If you add filter subscriptions to your Adblocker X installation the subscription will be requested regularly to retrieve updates. Every update results in the hosting website receiving your IP address as well as some general information like your Adblocker X version, browser and browser version.

This add-on also obtains configuration data from a remote server and displays notifications and recommendations if necessary. For this purpose, anonymous data is transmitted about visited URLs. This data is not stored remotely.
