It runs a small content script on the LMS assignment page to extract assignment deadlines, titles, and course names.It stores this information locally using the chrome.storage.local API (which Firefox translates to browser.storage.local).It runs a periodic background task (alarms) to check if any stored assignment deadlines are approaching.It displays a priority-sorted list of pending assignments in the popup and sends desktop notifications (notifications) for upcoming deadlines.The refresh button orchestrates a full check across all available courses on the LMS page.
