Install the extension

Choose your preferred platform (Lichess or Chess.com) by clicking on the extension icon

Find a chessboard image or video you want to play with

Right-click anywhere on the page

Click “Select position” on the context menu

Click and drag to draw a box around the chessboard

The position opens instantly on your favorite chess website

⚠️ Important indications

In order to get the best results, make sure that the quality of the image or video you're importing from is high. Bad quality media leads to wrong position being imported

When using Chess.com as your preferred website, you might get errors when importing some exotic positions because Chess.com does not support the importation of some illegal positions. In that case you may want to switch to Lichess.
