Many video players display a large dark gradient whenever the page is hovered over or interacted with. This extension removes them all, completely, no setup or configuration required. Just install and enjoy a better video experience.

How does it work? This extension scans the entire page for elements with a gradient background. If the element is contained within the same screen area as a video element, the gradient background is removed.

Issues?

This initial release is very basic. There is the possibility that gradient elements that shouldn't be removed are removed. Or gradients that should be removed aren't. If you experience any issues, please go to https://github.com/Nerdsie/DarkOverylayRemover/issues and submit a description of the issue, and what url it was happening at.
