Dev hid 720p downloads behind a paywall !
Who wants to download 480p videos in 2024 ? This is now a USELESS extension and not fit for purpose.

I'm going to wait until July 1st to see if the dev adds back the 720p, if he keeps it locked behind a paywall I'm deleting this addon, there are plenty of free yt dl websites that allow you to copy paste & download the yt link, something Ive been doing for the past few days

Has become a 'freemium' addon, removing features by inches. Anything better than 360p is now behind the paywall. True, Youtube now separates the video and audio files, which is annoying, but plenty of still-free options are capable of smushing them back together. I'm switching back to yt-dlp. EYtV Downloader was once wonderfully convenient, but now it's nearly useless without a 'Pro' account.

Absolute garbage, you can no longer download in even 720p, as even 720p has now been put behind a paywall. This addon is no longer functional as an addon. Its dog shit now.

There's plenty of free downloaders you can install to a pc that beat this greedy addon hands down, like 4k video downloader.

it used to just make you buy it to download 1080p, now it makes you buy it to download 720p, i'm sure they'll add a time limit to how long the videos can be. getting greedy don't use this

Work but download higher resolution is jump for money now message tell all 720p ich changed and need hi speed server for download. This is not tru i write script and i download 2k resolution without water mark and other shity problem, today then all fake info is only jump for money. I done with this addon... Absolutely useless 80% of the time. Just takes several second to tell you to give them money or pound sand because they can't handle youtube storing audio and video separately.

Mozilla should remove this plugin's "recommended" tag becuase it's, as already metioned, useless

It used to be ok. Now you can only DL 360p without paying a sub. Avoid.

For downloading mp3 - you have to pay 30$... Sucks...

This is not a free add-on... Nothing wrong with paid things but dont waste our time marking it as free until we try to use it
