Focus Marker lets you capture short highlights while you browse and find them later in one click. Click the toolbar button and choose Highlight selection to mark the text you selected on the current page. Your recent highlights appear in the popup with page titles and timestamps so you can jump back quickly. The Options page lets you change the highlight color to match your preference.

The add-on is designed to be lightweight and private. It only runs when you click its button and it stores your highlights in your browser using the storage API. It does not request access to all websites in advance. It does not load any remote scripts or resources. It follows add-on policies by avoiding inline scripts and by handling user interface updates safely.
