I've been using this add-on for years and contributed for doing so. However, it hasn't been modified for 3 years and a few months ago it stopped changing the location because of (I think) the way Google Maps accepts users. There is an easy fix since the add-on is simply a front-end to Accuweather which I also use anyway because it gives more info. Going direct to Accuweather is not quite as convenient but at least it works and gives the same information.

Update: Fehler behoben. Jetzt wieder das beste Wetter-Add-on für Firefox.

The feature has somehow deterriorated into the state of consistent failings to connect to the source (AccuWeather.com). While it was operable, I used to like it.

I love this on windows 8.1 but cannot understand why I can't change the location to my home on the windows 7 laptop I have? I'm using the same browser settings on bot systems? I just remains stuck in New York!

Location no longer works, just spins forever. Also there is an error on the locations setting page that Google maps won't load.

This used to work really well, but I'm putting a 1-Star down. You can't change your location from New York.

Hello. This is one of the greatest wether addons for FireFox. But recently there is a issue with choosing the Location. Issue is well known, and it is related with the requirment of Google to use https instead of http protocol. Please Oleksandr, fix it, and let us enjoy the addon. Thank you !

Was great when it worked. Can't set the location now. Can't load Google Maps. Check JavaScript console for technical details.

Was great, but as others have posted, it won't connect properly to Google Maps to set a location anymore.
