HardMode is a focus extension for people who are serious about stopping doom scrolling. Pick your distraction sites (social, news, video, whatever is wasting your time), flip HardMode on, and those tabs get hard-redirected to a blocked page that reminds you what you’re burning. No soft nudges, no “are you sure?” popups—just a clean, brutal lock.
Behind that simplicity is a full focus system. HardMode tracks how many times it saves you, estimates the time you’ve reclaimed, and turns it into XP, levels, streaks, and achievements so you can actually see your progress over days and weeks. There’s a weekly report, an achievements page, and a new tab view showing your current level and total “time saved.”
You stay in control:
Add your own custom distraction sites and toggle built‑in presets
Use quick Pause and Focus session buttons when you genuinely need a break or a deep‑work block
(Pro) Set a daily schedule so blocking only runs during your work hours, unlock higher levels, and add path exceptions for “this page is okay, the rest is not”
