Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad this addon is helpful to you! Keyboard shortcut is much requested and might be one of the next features to come. As you have noticed, the indicator/button is already done thanks to a contributor :)

As for the sidebar, you're not the first to ask for this, to be honest I've no idea how I'd do this. Maybe it's not so much work, maybe it is, I need to think about this. I've got quite a lot of other features to deal with beforehand, but I keep this in a Trello board. Thanks for the suggestion!
