stopped using when they started giving out ai slop results, now i'm using startpage

Setting the default search engine doesn't even work, and the promised Qwant features are missing on qwant.com!

even with addon installed, qwant requires a captcha several times per day, every day, on every machine i use. No vpn, regular wired internet, just overaggressive. I guess I'll go back to (literally any other search engine where this doesn't happen).

this is far the best search engine, it's french, very very fast, the UI is beautiful and clean, no ads, I love it.

After revisiting Qwant search engine I'm re-reviewing :)
Previously I suddenly got blocked by Qwant search.
After revising it it is back on and I'm delighted to use it again. I'm delighted to use this search engine again.
I cant see if Qwant is sharing information with search engine giants. +
I'm happy it has no adds. +
It's decent European alternative. +

Asks for a captcha nearly every time I search on mobile with Ironfox and desktop with Zen. I sent a contact form on the website but have not heard back yet.

Qwant fait l'essentiel et s'améliore régulièrement.
